An exhibition of the famous Estonian sculptor Rafael Arutyunyan was opened in the Sakala Centre, dedicated to the master’s jubilee.
Rafael Arutyunyan was born in Baku. From 1958 to 1964, he studied at the Estonian State Institute of Fine Arts, his specialty became artist-sculptor. He has participated in thirty exhibitions and organised three personal exhibitions, and has been a member of the Association of Artists of Estonia since 1977. He also writes poetry. Arutyunyan’s works offer a multifaceted, dynamic world full of non-linear connections, contradictory at times, but always dramatically rich.
